The Cleveland Cavaliers made two very different selections in the 2025 NBA Draft on Thursday night.

First, with the No. 49 overall pick, the team selected Tyrese Proctor, a guard, out of Duke. Then, with the No. 58 overall pick, the Cavs took Saliou Niang, a Senegalese/Italian wing that played for Aquila Basket Trento in the Lega Basket Serie A, the highest basketball league in Italy.
